Technology Sets Us Apart!
At Weisenberger Dental we strive to always have the best and most up to date technology in the industry. We believe this allows us to offer the most up to date treatment options for our patients with the highest level of comfort.
There are three main pieces of technology that allows us to have safer, more efficient, and more predictable outcomes for our patients.
Our CEREC machine is a digital scanner that eliminates the gooey impression material that we all dislike. This machine takes a digital impression of the teeth and then allows us to use this impression in many different ways. If we need to make a new crown for a patient, or even a complete smile make over, we can design and mill the new crown in the office while the patient is in the chair. This takes treatment time down from 2 weeks to 2 hours. This digital impression can also be sent to a lab if needed which increases accuracy and cuts down on treatment time. And finally all new patients have a scan taken so we can always have access to our scan if it is ever needed in the future!
Our second wonderful piece of technology is our cone beam, CBCT. This takes a three dimensional x-ray of the maxilla and mandible allowing us to see each tooth in 360 degrees. This helps us diagnose with more accuracy when compared to the conventional two dimensional x-rays. These images also can merge with our scans from the CEREC digital scanner allowing us to plan surgeries such as implants with exact precision.
The last and newest piece of technology is our 3D printer. This printer allows us to print scans from the CEREC machine, allowing us to eliminate more old impression material. We can also now print our night guards which cuts down lab time from 2 weeks to 24 hours. Break your night guard or retainer? No problems we can print a new one without you having to come back into the office!
